Introduction to Wet Felting June 15th 10a-2p with Rhonda Vanderhoff
In this class students will learn the basics of wet felting. The first half of class will focus on the overview of tools and materials, how to set up your workspace, how to lay out wool fibers and will end by achieving a prefelt piece of fabric.
The second half of class will focus on achieving a fully felted piece of fabric. Students need to be aware that to achieve a fully felted piece of fabric will require hand, arm and shoulder strength.
Students are encouraged to bring a bag lunch or snacks as there will be short lunch break between the first and second half of class.
This class is led by instructor Rhonda Vanderhoff- a fiber artist extraordinare and retired teacher based in Taos, NM.
Classes are in person only. Limited Space. Price includes class materials.
