Men's Mending, Sunday January 19th, 1-4p
Men’s gathering! This is the perfect opportunity to get together with the fellas and learn to repair and mend your gear, work clothes, or jeans that hole that keeps getting bigger! You’ll learn 5 basic stitches and some techniques to get started on your project. Materials will be provided as you learn the basics in the first part of the class. Then we’ll move on to the steps of repair in the second half of class, please bring a project to focus on.
When bringing a project to mend please keep in mind woven fabrics (cotton, linen, denim) are ideal for this workshop. Stretch materials and knitting are not what we’ll be focused on.
