Have you ever wanted to learn about Sashiko embroidery? This incredible technique was invented in northern Japan out of the need for repair and to strengthen work clothes and home goods. Sashiko means ‘little stab’ or ‘little pierce’ in Japanese and is a beautiful way to create designs with stitches! In this class, you’ll learn the foundations of Sashiko stitching: equipment and tools for getting going and the basic techniques for Sashiko embroidery.

Materials will be provided for you in the workshop.

Classes are in person only, with limited space.
