To create without the social expectation of filming my work is a heavy ask in today’s social media landscape. This work focuses on being engaged, taking things slow and turning inward.
Made using cotton fabric naturally dyed with walnut, indigo and avocado stone. Stitched with Sashiko cotton thread and then backed with heavy cotton wadding and cotton muslin on a 12x12 canvas. Framed in 1 3/8” deep white gallery frame.
