Textile Art: Naughty by Nature
This patchwork, embroidered and appliquéd story evolved from thoughts on the destruction of our rain forests and the animals effected with the loss of their habitats. The need to be more conscious of how we co-exhist on earth not only with other creatures but with earth itself.
Textiles are all from repurposed materials. Hand stitched embroidery and appliqué. Backed with cotton wadding and cotton muslin stretched onto a 18x24 canvas. Framed using 1 3/8” deep black gallery frame.
